On August 7th the Queen Anne’s County Historical Society’s President, Barb Pivec, presented the QAC Board of Education 55 copies of the book “Queen Anne’s County Maryland” by Frederic Emory. The Society will also gift copies to all non-public schools operating in the County over the next 30 days. With this initiative the society hopes to raise awareness and increase interest in the county’s history among the community. If you’re interested to getting a copy of this book for yourself you can order one through the website on our contact page. Or you can stop by Tucker House during business hours and purchase one. It is a great book that chronicles our county’s history.

Join us for a journey into women’s history in Queen Anne’s county.
